Some of the worst delays affecting bus services during this time were as follows:


Throughout the period the road works on Church Road, St George, Bristol causing varying delays to Services 332 and 635.

Townsend, Shepton Mallet remained closed with consequent diversions, this closure is liable to last for 22 weeks.
Moor Lane, Weston-super-Mare remained closed and Service 14 diverted to double run via Worle Moor road.
Worston Road, Highbridge is still closed and Service 113 is diverting via Clover Way.

Monday 1 October 2007

The road was closed between Shapwick and Catcott for the entire day so service 375 was diverted.
1100: The A358 was closed between Broadway and Hatch Beauchamp following an accident. Services 30 and 30A diverted via West Hatch and Blagdon Hill.
1400: Coronation Avenue, Bath closed following an accident, delays to service 10.
1700: Gridlock in Central Bristol affected services.

There were Temporary traffic lights on Fishponds Road, Bristol and caused delays to service 342.
Temporary traffic lights on Portbury Hundred were in place for the day.
0800: Long delays on A38 at Filton.
1600 " 1800: There was an accident at Cossington, service 375 diverted with delays of up to 30 minutes

For the entire day the road was closed between Shapwick and Catcott, service 375 diverted.
Throughout the day there were temporary traffic lights on Milton Road, Weston-super-Mare.
0800 " 1000 there was an accident on Keynsham By-pass caused delays to service X39.
0800 " 0900 there was heavy traffic on A367 between Peasedown St John and Bath caused delays.
0944 service 668 Shipham to Street was delayed at Cheddar for 30 minutes, passenger ill on the bus.
1100: Temporary traffic lights on Kelston Road, Bath.
1700: Mason Hill, Bradford-on-Avon closed, lorry ran into shop, delays to services X4 and X5.

The road was closed all day between Shapwick and Catcott, service 375 diverted.
0700: M5 northbound, two lanes closed.
1100: Road works in Bristol on Bath Road caused delays.
1300: Accident in Leigh Road, Street, delays to services 29, 375, 376 and 377.
1400: Incident at Cepen Park, Chippenham, Police closed the A4, delays to services 231 and 232.
1700: Long delays in Central Bath.

2000: Badly parked car blocked centre of Somerton and delayed service 377 by over 30 minutes, Police in attendance.
2000: The slip road from A370 to Bower Ashton closed and services 353 and 362 unable to serve Bower Ashton.
