New Managing Director for First in Bristol and Somerset and Avon

FirstGroup Plc has appointed Justin Davies as Managing Director for its bus operations in Bristol and Somerset & Avon. Justin joins the company having held the same title in the regions sister company Wales. He has considerable industry experience, having worked for the likes of Arriva and the National Bus Company.

He joined First on 25th February and he replaces Tony Anthistle who held the position for over two years.

Speaking about joining First in Bristol, Avon and Somerset Justin said,

" I am looking forward to my new role as the Managing Director for First Bristol, Somerset and Avon continuing with a number of projects that I have inherited from my predecessors and developing Firsts input into providing a sustainable transport system for the people of Bristol and the surrounding area.
