First is celebrating the arrival of better buses on the 234 route in Chippenham and Frome with a competition that's sure to raise a smile.

Customers are being asked to send in their favourite jokes, with the best being printed for fellow passengers to enjoy. The winners will even get a months free travel*.

Newer double deck buses on the 234 route will mean lower emissions and fresher interiors, with low floors for easy access and will have a 'Smiles better' branding to celebrate their arrival.

First Bristol, Somerset and Avon Managing Director Justin Davies said, "With fresher interiors and lower emissions, we hope these better buses will not only give our customers something to smile about but will also show our commitment to replacing older buses within our fleet."
