Get on board to win a £500 grocery prize

A lucky passenger could soon be filling their fridge and feeding their family for free - just for travelling by bus.

Customers on First Service 28 between Taunton and Minehead can enter a prize draw to win a recession-busting £500 for their grocery bills.

All they need to do is collect tickets on Service 28 (10 single/concessionary tickets, or five return tickets or a FirstWeek/other season ticket) to be in with a chance of winning a £500 Tesco voucher.

Passengers can enter the draw as many times as they like, with entry forms available on Service 28 buses, online at www.firstgroup.com or in Taunton Travel Shop.

Tickets can be collected until 20 May. Full terms and conditions are available online.

In the winter a similar promotion on First services in Somerset and Avon attracted thousands of entries to win £500 towards the cost of fuel bills.

Service 28 runs up to every 30 minutes (Monday-Saturday daytime) and includes Taunton Railway Station, Williton, Watchet and Butlin's at Minehead.

Justin Davies, Managing Director, First Somerset and Avon explains: "We hope customers on Service 28 will enjoy taking part in this competition. We know times are hard for a lot of people at the moment and £500 will certainly go a long way to cover grocery bills. Whether you are shopping, visiting friends or going to work, it's the perfect reason to get out and about by bus."
