Sue bags £500 prize - just by catching the bus
Sue Turner-James was the lucky winner of £500 in shopping vouchers - just for travelling by bus.
Sue, from Washford, won the First 'Win Your Grocery Bill' competition, which encouraged customers on Service 28 between Taunton and Minehead to enter a draw to win £500 in Tesco vouchers, simply by collecting bus tickets.
Sue, aged 59, says, "I buy a weekly pass and use the bus all the time as I don't drive. I saw a leaflet about the competition and just thought 'why not?'. It was really easy to enter, you just had to send in your bus tickets.
"I was absolutely over the moon when I heard I'd won, it's a really great prize. The vouchers will make a huge difference and I can't wait to treat the whole family for the summer."
Sue, is a part-time cleaner at West Somerset Community College. She lives in Willow Grove with husband John.
First Service 28 runs up to every 30 minutes (Monday-Saturday daytime) and includes Taunton Railway Station, Williton, Watchet and Butlin's at Minehead.
First Bristol, Somerset and Avon Managing Director Justin Davies says, "We are glad so many customers on Service 28 took part in the draw and we are delighted to be able to present Sue with such a great prize. I hope it will help make the summer even better for her and her family."
