Customer Panel - summary minutes of the latest meeting

Members were updated on news from the company, including:

· The introduction of 16 new buses on routes 48/49 (City centre - Emersons Green).

· Falls Awareness Day, an Age Concern initiative with the theme of 'falls on buses' - the company is supporting this national day by producing a 'safe journey' card and travel wallet with tips for safer travel.

· Bristol consultation - 8/9 and 24/25 - the proposals were discussed and the panel welcomed the consultation.


Development of the Panel:


It was agreed that the panel would meet with Passenger Focus, the rail passenger watchdog who have recently worked with the First Great Western customer panel.

It was also agreed that a new operational meeting would be established as a forum for panel members to raise practical issues.
