Alterations to changes planned for services 351, 352, 353 and X1 from 29 November

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - We have just heard that the Traffic Commissioner has authorised the start date of Sunday 29 November for these changes. Timetables will be available online from tomorrow, and the printed version of the Weston Timetable Book and X1 pocket timetable from Monday 30 November.

First has decided to scale back the changes previously announced on services 351, 352, 353 and X1 following feedback from customers. A new solution was found by working closely with North Somerset Council and will involve diverting and renumbering several current Service X1 journeys to allow First to continue to serve Claverham and Yatton.

Service 351 (Weston - Bristol, via North Worle and Claverham) and Service X1 (Weston - Bristol):

• The existing 0625 and 0705 journeys on Service X1 (from Weston-super-Mare to Bristol) are being converted to a Service 351 (calling at Claverham en route to Bristol).
• Three new journeys on Service 351, leaving Bristol Bus Station at 1705, 1730 and 1755 will be created by replacing journeys currently made by Service X1 and Service 351 at 1700, 1710, 1735, 1745 and 1800.

These journeys will follow the existing Service X1 route in Weston along Locking Road rather than North Worle.

· The 0520 journey on Service X1 journey from Weston-super-Mare will no longer be withdrawn, but is being retimed to leave two minutes earlier at 0518.

Service 352 (Weston - Bristol via Claverham and Long Ashton):

Following feedback from customers, we have decided that all buses will now continue to serve Long Ashton village. This means that the timetable will need to change from our original plans with most buses leaving Weston-super-Mare three minutes earlier, and Bristol Bus station five minutes earlier.

Service 353 (Weston - Bristol):

The journey leaving Weston-super-Mare at 2305 on Service 353 will be re-numbered Service 352, but the route, and timetable, remains unchanged.

Some changes that were previously announced will still take place on November 29. The timetables of services 351,352, 353 and X1 will be changing and the following journeys on Service 353 and X1 will no longer run:

· Leaving Weston at 1715 (Mon - Fri) and 2040 and 2155 (Sunday)
· Leaving Bristol Bus Station at 0755 and 0830 (Mon - Fri) and 2150 and 2300 (Sunday)
· Leaving Cleeve at 0718 (Mon - Fri)
