Service Changes
Service changes from 10 May 2009
Due to the current difficult economic climate, we need to make sure that our bus services match customer demand. As a result, we have reviewed all of our services and will be making changes, which will take place on 10 May 2009.
We understand that regrettably some people will be inconvenienced by these changes, however we feel that it is necessary to take these steps to ensure the local bus network remains sustainable.
Please note that there are a number of other smaller changes also happening on 10 May. This affects services 1/1A, 5, 40,40A,45, 554A in Bristol; services X10, X11 and X14 running from Bristol Bus Station and services 10 and 13 in Bath.

01 May - Update to changes to Services 121 and X27
First are pleased to announce that we will continue to run Services 121 and X27 with financial support from local authorities.
Service 121 (Weston to Bristol) will continue to be operated by First on behalf of North Somerset Council Monday - Saturday daytimes. From 10 May 2009, the timetable of this service will be changed and some journeys have been extended or withdrawn. Please check the timetable before travelling.
First will continue to run service X27 (Yate to Bristol via Iron Acton) on behalf of South Gloucestershire Council. From 10 May, the route of the service has been changed and will no longer stop at Bristol Bus Station, but instead the service will run into the heart of Bristol with stops at Anchor Road, near Millennium Square, Bond Street (for Cabot Circus), The Haymarket and St Augustines Parade. In Yate the service will no longer operate a loop through South Yate as bus services 342 and X42 provide reasonable alternatives, which also enables a faster journey to Bristol.
6 April - Update to changes to Bath from 10 May
Bath and North East Somerset Council have announced that they will be able to financially support some of the journeys that were scheduled to be withdrawn from May 10:
Service 2 Combe Down - Ensleigh
The journey on Monday to Friday leaving at 0642 from Combe Down to the Bus Station will continue to run and the journey leaving at 0732 on Saturday from Combe Down will run to the Bus Station from May 10.
Service 7 Centre - Larkhall
A new journey on Monday to Friday leaving Larkhall at 0635 will replace the existing journeys leaving at 0623 and 0644.
In addition Bath and North East Somerset Council have reviewed financially-supported evening services on service 7, and they have decided that this will no longer run after 1820. However, there will be a Service 6 every hour in the evening until 2345. The timetable of service 2 will also be changing in the evening to accommodate as a result.
An alternative bus operator will be running service 20A and 20C from 10 May.
