New service X27 Bristol - Yate

First are delighted to announce they have won the contract to continue running the X27 Yate to Bristol via Iron Acton service which is now being subsidised by South Gloucestershire Council.

The new service, starting on 10 May, will run hourly from Yate shopping centre to Bristol via Iron Acton and North Yate.

The route of the service has been enhanced in Bristol City Centre. It will no longer call at Bristol Bus Station, but instead the service will run into the heart of Bristol with stops at Anchor Road, near Millennium Square, Bond Street (for Cabot Circus), The Haymarket and St Augustines Parade.

This new route will help people travelling to places in the College Green and Harbourside areas.

In Yate the service will no longer operate a loop through South Yate as bus services 342 and X42 provide reasonable alternatives, which also enables a faster journey to Bristol.

With car parking charges at £8 for over 4 hours at Cabot Circus you can save money by getting the bus and the shortened route provides a fast journey from North Yate to Bristol.
