Changes to school/colleges journeys - Services 1, 20, 57A, 349, 435 and 436 from 30 August - New Information posted

The following school/college journeys are being withdrawn due to low customer demand:

Service 20
0724 Southmead to Redcliff Hill
1442 (Fri) & 1537 (Mon-Thurs) Redcliff to Westbury

Services 57A/349
0815 (57A) Stockwood to Brislington Enterprise College
1505 (57A) & 1505 (349) from Brislington Enterprise
College to Stockwood/Centre

Service 1
The section of the route between St Brendan's College and Whitmore Avenue will no longer be served.

Services 435 and 436 have also been withdrawn due to low customer usage.


As an alternative to services 57A, 435 and 436, customers can use Service 36, which runs between the Centre and Withywood via Barton Hill, Brislington and Knowle, every 20 minutes. This service should accommodate the needs of most students (certainly those that previously used the 435 and 436). Those who would have previously used Service 57a can now catch a combination of Service 54 and Service 36, changing buses in Sturminster Lane (at the bottom near West Town Lane).


We apologise for the omission in previous information posted on this website about services 435 and 436. This is due to an administrative error.
