Update - Service Changes in Somerset from 29 November

Wed like to clarify the change to Service 30 as listed below.On Monday " Saturday the frequency of buses between Taunton and Chard is increasing to every 30 minutes, between:

0835 and 1335 from Taunton
0936 and 1441 from Chard

The times were omitted from the information previously published. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

First is making some service changes in Somerset from Sunday 29 November including major improvements to services to Wellington and Chard, along with more buses connecting Taunton and Exeter.

Service 22, 22A - Taunton - Wellington:

Buses to Wellington are being improved with new areas being served and buses running every 15 minutes rather than every 20 minutes. On Service 22, most journeys from Taunton will leave 10 minutes later, and 7 minutes later from Tonedale.

The new services will be:

Service 22 - Taunton - Tonedale - Every Hour
Service 22A - Taunton - Rockwell Green - Every ½ Hour

All buses will travel to Barley Mow, with one bus per hour continuing to Greenway Road,and the other travelling to Dobree Park

Service 22B - Taunton - Hoyles Road - Every Hour

This service will travel via South Street, Wellersley Park, Barn Mead Road and Swains
Lane.

Wellington is also served by services 92 and 92A every hour.

Service 30 - Taunton - Axminster:

The frequency of this service between Taunton and Chard is increasing on Monday - Saturday to every 30 minutes from hourly - at certain times, please see above for update.

Service 92, 92A - Taunton -Exeter, Tiverton:

Service 92A will be extended on Monday to Saturday from Tiverton to Exeter via Rewe, Stoke Canon and Cowley Bridge. This will give an hourly service from Taunton to Exeter combined with Service 92, which will leave Taunton 10 minutes later and 1 minute earlier from Exeter.

Service 126 - Wells - Weston:

Two journeys on this service will be changing to improve connections in Wells for onward travel on Service 173 to Strode College. The college journey leaving Westbury Post Office at 0807 will leave 2 minutes earlier at 0805, and the journey leaving Weston Railway Station at 0702 will leave 5 minutes earlier at 0657.

Service 202 - Chard - Dorchester:

This service which consisted of two journeys operated on Wednesdays will no longer run due to low customer use.

Service 398 - Minehead - Tiverton:

This service will run in two sections - Minehead - Dulverton and Dulverton -Tiverton with through fares, guaranteed connections and no requirement for through passengers to change buses.

Timetables will be available approximately 2 weeks before the change.

All changes are Monday to Friday unless stated.
