Service Disruptions

Remembrance Day Services

There are several Remembrance Day services happening on Sunday 8 November with a number of road closures. Some bus services will be diverted as a result.

Bristol City Centre

The Centre in Bristol will be closed between 1000 and 1200.

Bristol City services: All services that travel through the Centre towards Park St will be diverted via Lewins Mead, Marlborough St, Park Row then the normal route. For buses towards the Centre, this will apply in reverse but when reaching Rupert St, buses will turn left into Bridewell St then left again into Nelson St before joining their normal route.
A number of services that normally terminate at the Centre will finish instead in Broadmead:

Service 6 & 36 will terminate at Union St.
Service 4 will terminate at Lower Union St
Service 25 will terminate at Rupert Street
Service 43,44,45 will terminate at Horsefair Stop Sl
Service 50 & 51 will terminate at Horsefair. Stop So
Service 90 will terminate at the Horsefair. Stop Sn
Service 48 & 49 will terminate as normal in Rupert St.
Service 73 will terminate at Lewins Mead.

Service 20, 24 & 90 will be diverted via Broadmead and through to Redcliffe Hill in both directions.
Service 75 & 76 will be diverted through Broadmead and Temple Way in both directions.

Bus Services running from Bristol Bus Station: All services that pass through the Centre onto Anchor Road will be diverted via Marlborough St, Park Row and Jacobs Wells Road in both directions. The Bristol International Flyer (Services 330 and 331) will also be diverted as above route.

Local Remembrance Services

Chipping Sodbury
The High Street and Broad Street will be closed between 1300 and 1600. Service 342 will terminate at Cotswold Road (stop just prior to Smarts Green roundabout)

Kingswood
There will be a procession between 1430 and 1445 along Cecil Road, Moravian Road and Regent Street. Services 6 & 43 will follow their normal route as delays should be minimal.

Staple Hill

Service 49 will be diverted between Pendennis Road and Page Park between 1030 and 1130.

Service 49 towards Staple Hill will run along Staple Hill Road, Grace Road, Downend Road, North Street, Salisbury Road, Park Road, North View then normal route. Buses travelling towards the Centre will do this in reverse.

Thornbury

The High Street will be closed between 1345 and 1630. Services 309 and 310 towards Bristol only will run along Grovesend Road, Rock Street & Bristol Road before resuming normal route.

Warmley

The High Street will be closed between 1030 and 1045. Two journeys on Service 43 will be diverted via the A4174 & Tower Lane in both directions. The journeys leave Warmley at 1027 and 1043.

Westbury Village

Parts of the village will be closed between 1000 and 1200.

Service 1 will run along Falcondale Road in both directions.

Service 20 - (towards Canford Cemetery) will run along Henleaze Road, Westbury Road, Falcondale Road, Canford Lane and then normal route. Buses towards the Centre will run along this diversion in reverse.
