Changes to service 17/17A from Sunday 27th July 2008

In order to improve the reliability of service 17/17A during August the service will be split at Penzance. Between Sunday 27th July and Saturday 30th August inclusive this route will affectively become two services. Unfortunately experience of operating this route has shown that queuing traffic through Crowlas along the A30 causes delay to the service. Buses operating from St Ives to Penzance will serve the A30 bypass, St Clare Street and Market Jew Street and Penzance Bus Station. Buses to St Ives will depart via Chyandour Street, customers are able to board in Penzance Town Centre on the inbound journey in order to travel back to St Ives. The route of buses to St Just remain unchanged.

It has been necessary to change this service as result of traffic congestion in Penzance during the summer period, the service will revert back to its existing operation as from 31st August.
