Changes to services, routes and bus numbers in North Devon from 26th October

As a result of changing customer demands and travel patterns in North Devon some services have been changed...

Service 1/2 North Devon Hospital " Barnstaple " Bideford " Westward Ho! /Appledore

The route of this service is unchanged, although the timetable has changed. Full details are provided within the new timetable booklet.

Service 3/3A/3B Barnstaple " Braunton " Ilfracombe " Combe Martin/Woolacombe

Service 3 will now operate every 30 minutes between Barnstaple, Braunton and Ilfracombe.

New Service 4 is introduced to operate every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday between Barnstaple and Braunton. Service 3/4 combined provides a 15-minute frequency to Braunton.

Service 3 now terminates at Ilfracombe, revised Service 30 will operate every hour between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin, some peak journeys are extended to North Devon College and Service 30E operates Friday evenings under contract to Devon County Council.

Service 3A is replaced between Ilfracombe, Whittingham Road and Ilfracombe Tesco by new service 32 operating every hour.

Service 3B has been renumbered service 31 and is operated under contract to Devon County Council.

Service 7 Barnstaple " Swimbridge " South Molton " Mill on the Mole

Service 7 is replaced by new service X7 operating direct between Mill on the Mole, South Molton and Barnstaple every hour. Some journeys continue to operate to and from North Devon College.

New service 5 will operate every hour between Barnstaple, Newport, Landkey and Swimbridge. Peak journeys will continue to serve Filleigh and South Molton. Devon County Council have provided a replacement bus service between Swimbridge, Filleigh and South Molton during the day.

A new timetable booklet featuring maps for the new/revised services being introduced from 26th October is available from the First Travel Shop in Barnstaple Bus Station and will also be circulated within the North Devon Gazette being delivered to most houses along these routes during week commencing 20th October.
