Important changes to services 17/18/48 in the Plymstock area after Saturday 17th January 2009

It is with regret we have to announce that timetables for Services 17/18/48 in the Plymstock area will be revised after operation on Saturday 17th January 2009.

Following the reduction in the concessionary fare reimbursement rates we receive from both Plymouth City Council and Devon County Council, coupled with substantial increases in operating costs it has been neccesary to make changes to these services in order to better match the cost of operation to the revenue that we are receiving.

As a result of these changes Service 17 will now operate every 2 hours between Plymouth, Plymstock and Jennycliff, Service 18 will continue to operate every hour with a slightly revised timetable, and Service 48 will operate every 2 hours between Plymouth, Plymstock and Wembury. The combination of Services 17/18/48 will provide two buses per hour between Plymouth and Billacombe.
