Emergency road closure in Porthlevan affecting First service 2 - Wednesday 18th February 2009

We have been informed by the Devon & Cornwall Police that the A394 between Breage Shute Hill and the Porthleven turn will be closed to all traffic on Wednesday 18th February for the recovery of a HGV which was involved in an incident on 16th February. Unfortunately planned attempts to move the vehicle on Tuesday 17th February were unsuccessful.

During the closure all 2 and 2A services will use back roads between Ashton and the Porthleven Turn to maintain the through service.

Buses will not be able to serve Breage for the duration of the closure.

Normal services will resume as soon as the road is re-opened and we apologise for any inconvenience caused due to circumstances very much beyond our control.
