Service Disruption at Tuckingmill, Tolvadden Road Junction

As a result of Cornwall Council carrying out road improvement works at the Tolvadden Road junction along the A3047 between Camborne and Redruth, local bus services in the area are being subject to severe delays. The congestion caused by traffic queuing at the new traffic lights installed at the junction is having a knock on effect on the reliability of the services travelling through this junction. We have been discussing this problem with Cornwall Council, but as yet they have not been able to make any improvements to the situation.

The following services have been adversely affected.

Services 14/18 between Truro, Redruth, Camborne, St Ives and Penzance.

Service 40 between Truro, St Day, Redruth, Illogan and Camborne.

Service 41 between Falmouth, Redruth and Camborne

Service 42 between Camborne, Four Lane and Falmouth

Service 43/44 between Camborne, Illogan, Portreath and Redruth

Service 45 between Praze an Beeble, Camborne and Redruth.

Also some school/college movements to Cornwall College at Pool.
