Rod Stewart Concert Park & Ride - Thursday 2nd July 2009

First are pleased to announce it will be operating a Park & Ride service for the Rod Stewart concert at Plymouth Home Park on Thursday 2nd July.

In what is rumoured to be Rod's only UK date this year Home Park will be packed, so making use of our Park & Ride services is the best option for avoiding the heavy traffic with 23,000 people trying to get to the ground.

We will offer two services between 3.30pm and 8pm:

At least every 10 minutes from our George Junction site in Roborough.
At least every 15 minutes from our Coypool site in Plympton

Additional journeys will operate closer to the concert start time as demand requires. Journey times from The George are approx 15 minutes and from Coypool approx 25 mins.

Once the concert finishes buses will depart from Home Park to The George and Coypool sites at frequent intervals until midnight.

There is a flat return fare for all passengers of just £2.50!

Terms and conditions:

The £2.50 fare is applicable for passengers travelling on any of The George or Coypool services after 3.30pm, when travelling to Home Park and returning after the normal Park & Ride services have finished on Thursday 2nd July, for single and return journeys (no concessions). No refunds will be given on unused return tickets. Passage and parking spaces will be on a first come first served basis and therefore passengers are advised to allow sufficient time to park and board. This Rod Stewart Park & Ride service will operate in addition to the normal Park & Ride services which will operate as normal on Thursday 2nd July.
