A maximum of two children under five, travelling with an adult ticket or pass holder, are carried free when they do not occupy a seat to the exclusion of a fare-paying passenger. Additional children under five and all children aged five and under 13 are charged the child fare. We recommend children aged 13 to 15 apply for an Under 16 Pass to show they qualify for child fares.
