Southampton - Changes to Services 3, 4, 5, 7, 11s, 12s, 13, 14 and 14A

Starting on Sunday 10 May 2009 there will be timetable changes to the above routes.

Service 7 will now operate via Bassett Green Road and Stoneham Lane in both directions and terminate in Burgess Road. The 7 will also operate via Above Bar in both directions and will no longer serve West Quay.

Service 13 coming in from Bitterne to the City Centre will now serve Above Bar instead of Kingsway.

From the same date, changes in funding from Southampton City Council will result in:

The withdrawal of most 14A journeys, although First will continue to run the 0715 from Bitterne to Southampton Airport

A reduction in the number of Sunday journeys on services 4 and 5

The withdrawal of all evening journeys on service 5 after 8pm

A limited re-introduction of service between Portswood, General Hospital, Shirley and Millbrook Tescos (New service 7A)
