Punctuality and reliability May 2009

We operate our local bus services to the standards set by the Traffic Commissioners who are responsible for the regulation of bus and coach services in the United Kingdom.

The required standards are 95% punctuality where a vehicle can be no more than 1 minute early or 5 minutes late at any terminus point. The reliability target is set at 99% of the timetabled scheduled mileage. Against those targets our performance was as follows:

Between 26/04/09 and 23/05/09 we operated 99.4% of our scheduled Services, 90.1% of our journeys that were monitored, started on time. Our reliability has increased for the fourth month in a row thanks to recent moves to improve services.
