Service Changes
Service Changes in Portsmouth and Fareham from 28th September 2009
From 28th September First Hampshire & Dorset will be launching two new services
From Tuesday 29th September the X42 will provide a fast new direct link from The Hard Interchange to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Waterlooville, Crookhorn and South Downs College every 30 minutes during the daytime Mondays to Saturdays. The timetable can be found at the bottom of this page.
On Monday 28th September a new off-peak service 27 will operate from Fareham to Locks Heath providing a new bus service along Heath Road, Peters Road and Admirals Road as well as providingf a direct bus between Barnes Lane and Fareham. This experimental new commercial service is in response to customer requests for direct links to Fareham. The timetable can be found at the bottom of this page.
Also from Monday 28th September we are making a number of changes to school journeys in response to customer requests:
Service 672
The 07:53 from Locks Heath Centre to Bay House School, St Vincents College and Gosport Ferry will now start from Warsash Clock Tower at 07:45.
New service 642
A new service 642 will operate from Oaklands School (departing 15:40) to Warblington providing additional capacity to students who would usually catch service 641 from the school.
Service 40C and 145
The service 145 departing Oaklands School at 15:40 to Cosham Health Centre has been replaced by a service 40C departing Oaklands School at 15:40 to Portsmouth City Centre via South Downs College and Cosham. As a consequence the 15:40 40C from South Downs College will now operate 5 minutes later along its entire route.
