Concessions

Concessions

People of pensionable age qualify for a Senior Citizen pass from their local authority. This pass allows the holder to travel for free when boarding a bus in Staffordshire (excluding the City of Stoke-on-Trent) at any time of day, seven days a week. When boarding the bus within the City of Stoke-on-Trent, concessionary pass holders, including disabled pass holders, must pay the full adult fare before 9:30am and after 11:00pm on Mondays to Fridays. Free travel is only permitted between 9:30am and 11:00pm on Mondays to Fridays, and all day on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Holders of Cheshire Consortium passes may travel at half fare when boarding the bus in Cheshire before 9:30am Monday to Friday. Passes must be presented to the driver on every journey - without it, senior citizens will be required to pay full adult fare.

Special Offer - £1 single fare before 09:30 Monday-Friday

Available to holders of a valid concessionary pass - just show your pass to your driver when you board. Available on all First services throughout Staffordshire & South Cheshire.

Carer / Companion Passes

If you hold a Staffordshire or Stoke-on-Trent concessionary pass (blind, disabled or elderly) showing the companion symbol, then one companion is entitled to the same concession as the pass holder. You don't have to travel with the same companion every time you use our buses, but your companion does have to board and alight at the same stop as you.
