Trains
Stoke-on-Trent has excellent train connections with the rest of the UK, including Manchester and Birmingham, and the bus service through Keele University provides a direct link with Stoke Station. Staffordshire University's Stoke Campus is a short walk from the rail station.
National Express
Many long distance coach services call at Hanley Bus Station, in the City Centre. A small selection of services also call at Newcastle-under-Lyme. Tickets can be purchased from First travel shops in Hanley and Newcastle bus stations.
