First in Norfolk & Suffolk operates 68 services throughout Norfolk and Suffolk and is part of FirstGroup plc the international public transport company.
We carry around 25 million passengers each year on a network of routes covering Norfolk and Suffolk. Limited stop inter-urban services link many of the major centres in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire - including Norwich, Peterborough, the market towns of Kings Lynn and Wisbech, and the east coast resorts of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.

Passenger Growth
X1 Route, Lowestoft to Peterborough inter-urban route has seen passenger growth between 2008-2009 of 15%. This route now carries in excess of 1.8 million passengers annually.
Investment
A historic Joint Investment Plan between First, Norfolk County Council and Norwich City Council will see £27 million invested in buses and the bus infrastructure over the next few years.
Green Travel Plans
Sales of discounted annual travel passes for students and staff at the University of East Anglia have now risen to in excess of 6000 annually.
Partnerships
- A draft Quality Bus Partnership is currently being prepared for Norwich City
- A Punctuality Improvement Partnership was signed in May 2006 with Norfolk County Council
