Colleagues and customers alike describe John as a very outstanding individual who is extremely helpful and considerate. Although John is a supervisor he is still willing to muck in and always ready to lend help in hand when required.
On 11/12/07, John Corder carried out CPR, to a man who collapsed at Chelmsford bus station. John helped to save this mans life; the gentleman had technically died however the CPR that John carried out managed to revive him.
Paramedics praised John, so did many members of staff and customers. To this day John still states that what he did was something that anyone would do in that situation. What John did was extremely commendable and demonstrates a great act of kindness that had a positive effect on fellow colleagues and the company. Many letters were received from customers praising John's act, which changed the perception of drivers to the general public.
