Original reason for Nomination
When Tony was out driving a bus he witnessed an accident occur in front of him, where a lady crashed her car. The car then started smoking from the bonnet and caught fire. Tony's reaction was to immediately help the lady, got out of his bus and rushed over to her car, pulling the lady clear of the dangerous situation.
It was felt by the Local Management Team that Tony had acted beyond the call of duty with his quick thinking and his consideration for others. He acted professionally, responsibly and positively towards a member of the public in acting how he did to avoid a potentially dangerous situation, he is an example to us all.
