Original reason for Nomination
Dennis helped a customer who became ill whilst alighting from a bus. Won praise from everyone on the bus and the man who was taken ill. Dennis took control of the situation, made notes and kept other customers informed whilst they waited for the ambulance.
One particular letter from a Customer Services Officer from Leeds City Council said, "It is easy to see that he is one of the best examples of a First driver and a human being you have working for you. I would certainly be glad of him in a crisis".
His priority at all times is the safety and comfort of his passengers and this has a positive effect on other employees.
