Original reason for Nomination
Damian went over and above the call of duty when helping a man who suffered from a severe heart murmur. Damian gave him mouth-to-mouth and brought him back to life. The paramedics said if Damian had not taken this action; the man would have died by the time they had arrived.
Damian showed initiative and courage when attending the man who took ill. He responded to the situation with a 'can do' attitude and acted professionally throughout.
If Damian did not act the way he did, the man would not have been able to be resuscitated once the paramedics arrived, as it would have been too late.
The Local Management Team are very pleased with Damian and are proud to have him as their employee.
