The judging panel were amazed when Willie received five nominations in November 2007 from different passengers.
Nominations commented on Willie's 'courteous', 'polite' and 'patient' manner. One nomination said Willie is 'simply the best' as he is 'pleasant to everyone, young and old alike'. Another called him 'dependable, pleasant and helpful'.
Five months later Willie was nominated again and the judging panel awarded him his second Superstar award for exceptional service.
Despite the simplicity of Willie Turner's nominations the judges felt that the reasons spanned each and every category that their judging was based upon making Willie an exemplary employee on all levels. The customer service he provided was exceptional to the extent that on six different occasions passengers felt the urge to write to the Company to tell of their encounters with him.
Willie is an incredible ambassador for First and is without doubt a superstar.
