Original reason for Nomination
An elderly confused lady was found wandering the streets trying to get to Pitsmoor. Dave realizing the potential danger that she could be in, arranged for all passengers on his vehicle to be transferred onto the next 52 bus (via Radio Control) then took responsibility for the lady and assisted her to Attercliffe Police Station for her safety.
Dave demonstrated that bus drivers are integral parts of the community and not just there to ferry you from A to B. His act was over and above the call of duty.
