Keeping fit just got easier (and cheaper) for the over 60s in Swansea.

A PARTNERSHIP between First Cymru and Swansea's LC has made keeping fit easier and cheaper for pensioners in the town. On Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12 January and 28 February, concessionary bus users presenting a valid bus ticket or pass, will be able to join the older adults aerobics, easy line or aqua aerobics and swim sessions for just £1.
The scheme, which is designed to get older people moving, is expected to generate a lot of interest from the over 60s community, many of whom already use their free concessionary bus passes to get out and about in the region.
Tony McNiff, Managing Director, First Cymru says: "It's great to be able to work in partnership with the LC like this, it offers retired people the opportunity to get out and meet other people, whilst also staying fit and healthy. We hope that as many people as possible take advantage of this opportunity."
Nic Beggs, Sales & Marketing Manager of Swanseas LC, says: "The LC older mornings are very popular because they offer people a way to meet other people and socialise, for very little money. The scheme will run throughout January and February."
