First Cymru says 'farewell' to hero Albert Rogers.

Hundreds of thousands of bus travellers around Swansea have unwittingly seen the benefits of an unsung hero over the past quarter century.
Now, Albert Rogers has retired from his post as a bus and coach cleaner at First Cymru's Ravenhill Depot where he has worked since 1985, having previously been employed by the former Morris Bros. coach company.
Albert has worked in and around buses for most of his life and is well known by everyone in the industry in the South Wales area. He always finds a welcome at bus and coach operators' premises.
Most drivers in Swansea have recollections of Albert accompanying them on their duties with the Gower and Cardiff being amongst Albert's favourite destinations over the years.
Albert is a keen collector of bus memorabilia, model buses and coaches - he has an extensive collection.
As members of staff have holidayed around the world, photos of buses and coaches have been collected and brought back to be added to Albert's collection.
First Cymru's Business Manager for Swansea, Colin Fox, said that Albert will be missed by everyone:
"He is a cheery character who has worked very hard over the years and clearly loves the bus industry."
"I'd like to thank Albert for his efforts in keeping our buses clean for customers over many years."
"We'll all miss him, but I suspect we may just see him riding around on our buses again before too long!"
