Pershore Abbey

Pershore Abbey stands majestically within Abbey Park and was founded in 689AD by St. Oswald. The majority of the Norman building was built in 11th Century and is still in use today for worship and concerts.

River Avon

The River Avon also has its own attractions. Spend a tranquil day fishing or stroll alongside the river and take a hamper and stop for a picnic by Pershore Old Bridge. Boats can be hired for a leisurely journey along the Avon or pick up our circular walk leaflets from the Tourist Information Centre in the Town Hall.

Pershore Heritage Centre

The Heritage Centre is located on the first floor of Pershore Town Hall with exhibits covering well over 2,000 sq ft of floor and wall space.
