Peak Fares

Our peak fares are charged up until 9.30 in the morning and then between 3pm and 6pm Monday to Friday.

Off Peak Fares

The off-peak fares come into use between 9.30am and 3pm, and after 6pm Monday to Friday, and all-day Saturday, Sunday and on Bank Holidays.

Elderly Persons Fare

Senior Citezens who are in possession of a Senior or Disabled persons permit, travel at the adult fare during the morning peak up to 09:30 Monday to Friday. They can travel FREE any time after 09:30 Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The permit is valid for travel anywhere in West Yorkshire.

The Senior or Disabled persons permit can be obtained from West Yorkshire PTE(Metro) or from our Travel Shop on New Market Street Leeds, from the Metro Travel Centre at the Leeds City Bus Station, or most Post Offices.

Child Fare

Children travel for half adult fare at any time. Children aged 11 and above must have a half fare pass issued by Metro that can be obtained from the First Travel Shop on New Market Street Leeds or The Metro Travel Centre at the Leeds City Bus Station. If a child is under 11 years of age but looks older then they may also need to carry a Half Fare permit. See also FirstDay tickets for children aged between 5 and 18.
