Royal Armouries

The Royal Armouries is home to the United Kingdom's national collection of arms and armour, including artillery. Their collections include royal armours of the Tudor and Stuart kings; arms and armour of the English Civil Wars; British and foreign military weapons; hunting and sporting weapons, as well as an exceptional collection of oriental arms and armour. Entry is free!

You can also see live horse shows, including jousting, falconry displays and live combat by knights in shining armour.

Thackray Medical Museum

The Thackray Medical Museum is an award winning museum, telling the story of medicine and explaining how advances in medicine are changing our lives. Exhibitions include Having a Baby, Surgery and Leeds 1842 - a chance to step back in time to Victorian Leeds.
