Qualifications

Full car driving licence

No endorsements or criminal convictions likely to impede granting of PCV licence, e.g. no more than 6 points, no drink driving offences unless they are spent (usually 10 years), no criminal convictions involving violence or theft.

Numeracy

• Ability to reconcile cash receipts
• Ability to receive correct fares and give correct change

Literacy

Ability to complete written reports on accidents, incidents etc.

Personal skills

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and members of staff and the public from across the social spectrum.

Ability to create and sustain relationships with colleagues and members of the public

Knowledge

Good general knowledge of the Leeds area desirable.

Experience

• Previous experience of working directly with customers desirable
• Previous experience of working shifts/unsocial hours desirable
• Previous experience of cash-handling desirable
• Previous experience of working without close supervision
