First Xtra - £1.00

Now that we have "local" tickets, you only pay for the area within which you choose to travel. But to ensure we offer as much choice as possible we’ve also introduced a NEW ticket, FirstXtra!

FirstXtra offers customers with MoneySaver products such as FirstWeek, FirstMonth, FirstTerm etc the option to extend the validity of their ticket.

For example:

if you buy a FirstWeek Rotherham ticket but then decides to make a journey into Sheffield just pay £1 for a FirstXtra ticket to be used in conjunction with their FirstWeek Rotherham ticket;
if you're a student with a FirstTerm Sheffield ticket and you want to travel to Doncaster buy a FirstXtra;
if you have a FirstMonth and want to travel into the Peak District on one of our services buy a £1 FirstXtra.

FirstXtra is available to buy with the following tickets:

FirstWeek, including FirstWeek Orange and FirstWeek Red
FirstMonth;
FirstTerm.

A FirstXtra ticket is £1 per single journey and must accompany a valid FirstWeek, Month or Term ticket as outlined above.

FirstXtra is not available to buy with a FirstDay or FirstDay Group ticket.

Sheffield Centro - 50p

Getting around Sheffield city-centre has never been easier...

If you shop or work in Sheffield city centre, Centro is just the ticket for you. For just 50p you can hop onto any First bus and travel within Sheffield’s central shopping district. And our frequent service means you’ll never have to wait long for a bus. So why not give your legs a rest and save time by hopping on a bus and travelling in comfort from one end of the city to the other.

Doncaster Centro - 40p

Getting around in Doncaster with First just got even easier...

If you shop or work in Doncaster town centre or are simply getting out and about, Centro is just the ticket for you. For just 40p you can hop onto any First bus and travel within the central fare zone, give your legs a rest and save yourself some time by hopping on board and travelling from one end of town to the other.

Buy a Doncaster Centro ticket from your First bus driver for just 40p and your return trip within the zone is absolutely free.

Plus, if you travel into town with First and buy a single journey ticket make sure you keep your ticket and use it for up to two journeys within the central fare zone without having to pay anything extra!!
