Men and women over 60 qualify for a Senior Citizen pass from the local Transport Executive. This pass allows the holder to travel for free on bus within South Yorkshire, as well as being valid for certain journeys into neighbouring counties. This Senior Citizens pass is valid all day at weekends and for Bank Holidays, and after 09:00 hours on weekdays. Passes must be presented to the driver on every journey – without it, senior citizens will be required to pay full adult fare.
