Welcome to First! There is a lot happening here in South Yorkshire at the moment and we hope you find this site a useful source of information regarding our bus services, travel offers and ticket promotions.

A number of improvements have been made recently for our customers to deliver the highest levels of safety and service including investing £13million in 76 new buses across South Yorkshire. These state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly buses allow our passengers easier onboard access (over 80% of our total fleet is now low-floor) as well as more comfortable seating and legroom for their journeys.

Our comprehensive bus network offers passengers frequent and punctual services in and around Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster and has helped us encourage people to use a First bus.

Safety is our number one priority and we are proud that we have picked up awards for our health and safety record.. In the past year we have won the South Yorkshire Care4Air award and the Rotherham Chamber Environment Award for our commitment to the environment in South Yorkshire. Two of our drivers were also rewarded for their hard work and service to the community by winning the CBT Dennis Ellis Memorial Award for services to a local school.

Partnership is also key for us and we have signed up to a number of important agreements with South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE), Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster Councils, RUFC, DRFC and Doncaster Racecourse.
