Changes to Bus Services in Sheffield - 25th October 09

From Sunday 25th October changes will be made to services operated by First in the above areas. Full details are as follows:

Service 1: Journeys to and from High Storrs School will be numbered 701. Morning journey will start earlier from Manor Top and will also run direct along Bochum Parkway. The route of the afternoon journey will remain the same.

Service 6: Change of route in City centre and at Darnall to serve Halsall Avenue, Halsall Drive, Pearce Road, James Street and Poole Road. Also change of timetable to provide improved running time.

Service 13: Replaced by 14 and 22.

Service 14: Service to run from City centre to Loxley via Wisewood up to every 12 mins. Buses will run down Hallowmoor Road, along Loxley Road, Chase Road and back up Rodney Hill. City to Woodhouse section see 22.

Services 20/ 20A: Change of timetable to improve regularity and punctuality through afternoon peak.

Service 22: Change of route and timetable to run Nether Edge - City - Woodhouse. Will replace 13/ 14 to Woodhouse. City - Wybourn see new 56.

Service 26: Replaced by new service X14 (Sheffield - Catcliffe - Treeton - Swallownest - Aston - Swallownest - Fence - Sheffield) and service X15 (Sheffield - Fence - Swallownest - Aston - Swallownest - Treeton - Catcliffe - Sheffield).

Service 30: Small timetable change to improve punctuality.

New service 56: Between City centre and Wybourn to replace 22.

Service 84: Change of route and timetable. Buses will start from Angel Street and run the full length of Knowle Lane instead of Ringinglow Road. All buses will then run direct to Ringinglow and return via Long Line and Whirlow.

Service 740: Withdrawn.

New services X4/ X5: Between Sheffield and Dinnington (limited stop) to replace 23. 23A and 24.
