Halifax Food and Drink Festival, Piece Hall
13th and 14th June 2009
For food lovers everywhere, the Halifax Food and Drink Festival has a wide range of local and regional producers, from ostrich to cheese and chocolate to beer - something for everyone! Highlights include a live cookery theatre featuring celebrity chef Kevin Woodford and Yorkshire Life Food and Wine consultant Annie Stirk
Entry is £1 - children under 16 are free with a paying adult.

Calderdale Pride

This year Halifax will be hosting the first ever Calderdale (Gay) Pride. Events include sports taster sessions at Spring Hall, Pride at the Piece Hall and Pride Party.
