36 First Vehicle Services Fleets Named Among the Top 100 Fleets in America

CINCINNATI – First Vehicle Services, a leader in fleet management and maintenance, recently had 36 of their service centers named to the “100 Best Fleets in North America ” by Government Fleet magazine, a national publication which annually recognizes and rewards peak performing fleet operations throughout North America.
“At First Vehicle Services, safety and customer satisfaction are our top priorities in managing fleet operations,” said J. Michael Bloss, president of First Vehicle Services. “We are thrilled with this recognition and view it as testimony to our management and best practices in providing efficient, cost-effective and reliable fleet operations.”
More than 1,350 applications were submitted for fleets from all over North America. Candidates were reviewed by a panel of five industry judges, which rated fleet operations on a set of twelve criteria, including accountability, use of technology, innovation and efficiency.
“More than 1400 cities and counties across the country have public/private partnerships for contract services,” says Tom Johnson, author of the 100 Best Fleets in North America. “The definite trend in the public sector is to run it like a business with outsourcing. First Vehicle Services is the Gold Standard in fleet service operations.”
