First Aberdeen sponsor Student Show!
First Aberdeen are once again delighted to give their financial support and backing to this year’s Student Show ‘Fittie Fittie Bang Bang’.
The Student Show brings together students from Aberdeen Uni, Robert Gordons Uni and North East of Scotland College to parody a well-known musical/film.
The unique thing about the show is that the script is written in Doric with all the money raised going to support local charities in and around the city of Aberdeen.
The Student Show is now in its 97th year having been run in Aberdeen since 1921 and last year’s performance of ‘Sister Echt’ raised the amazing sum of £92,194.
This year’s show opens on 19th April and runs until 21st April, with two performances on Friday 20th April & Saturday 21st April.
First Aberdeen, Operations Director, David Phillips, said: “We have been involved in sponsoring the Student Show for a number of years now and we are delighted to give our backing to this year’s event. The show is a fantastic spectacle every single year and with all of the money raised for some fantastic local causes, it really is an incredible effort from all involved.”
The cast visited the First Aberdeen King Street depot for a tour ahead of the opening night. For more information or to buy tickets for the show, go to http://studentshow.co.uk/
