Coronavirus - COVID19: Service information
At First Bus, your safety is our top priority. In the wake of the evolving impacts of coronavirus, we are working with the Government and wider industry to ensure we are following the latest advice to keep you safe on our buses.
For updates regarding your local bus services please see below:
Effective from Saturday 30th May 2020, we will operate a revised frequency on the below services.
Following on from Government’s publication of its ‘safer transport’ guidance for bus operators, we have introduced safe capacities across our fleet. These measures have been introduced across our buses to ensure the safety of our colleagues and customers during Covid19.
The latest government advice is to use public transport only when absolutely essential, due to limited capacity in the system to enable social distancing. People intending to travel should check the appropriate government advice for the region of the UK they live in. You should consider walking, cycling and all other forms of transport before using public transport at this time. If you do need to use public transport allow extra time as travel may take longer than normal on some routes due to reduced capacity and social distancing measures.
To help with social distancing measures, we will be introducing additional buses onto our network to support key workers and essential travel.
