The Times They are A-Changing for Rail Air Service to Heathrow
The very popular Rail Air service which operates between Reading Station and Heathrow Airport is making some changes to the timetable to offer travellers a more streamlined journey experience. The improved timetable, which comes into effect on Saturday 3rd November, comes ahead of a relaunch of the service in Spring 2019, which will take the first class service to a whole new level in terms of comfort and style.
Marc Reddy, Managing Director for Rail Air said: “We are proud to bring our Rail Air customers this reliable and upmarket service directly to Heathrow. Rail Air takes away the stress of finding a parking space and delivers you ‘straight from train to plane’. We aren’t resting on our laurels as we continue to improve the standard offered, there are exciting times ahead early next year”.
The Rail Air service already offers a premium waiting lounge at Reading Station with complimentary drinks and light refreshments and departure announcements. Busy travellers benefit from the power sockets and complimentary WIFI, and they can carry on working on board the luxury coach by virtue of the WIFI and usb charging points.
The Rail Air service operates from approximately 0355am until 11pm, travelling directly to Terminal 5 from Reading Station, and sets down at Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Passengers travelling to and from Terminal 4, or arriving at T1 to T3 can take advantage of the free airport shuttle service to Terminal 5 where the Rail Air service will be at Stand 9 every 20 minutes to return to Reading Station.
