West Yorkshire Bus Alliance
The West Yorkshire Bus Alliance aims is to put customers at the heart of improving services, keeping buses moving and developing a sustainable bus network.
By working together, we aim to deliver quicker and more reliable journeys and easy-to-understand and affordable fares for people of all ages. We also want to make more progress towards cleaner, less-polluting vehicles with better facilities such as free Wi-Fi and USB charging points, and provide our customers with better travel advice and journey planning information.
One element of the WYBA is the Customer Promise, a committment by First West Yorkshire, Arriva Yorkshire and Transdev.
How will the Customer Promise work?
- If you're unhappy with your First bus journey, you can claim a free travel voucher.
Simply contact us by telephone and we'll arrange for a free travel voucher to be sent out, for use on a future date.
(We'll fulfil this using our mTicket app where possible.)
- If the last bus doesn't arrive within 20 minutes of the scheduled time, you can call a taxi to get you home
You'll need to get a receipt from the taxi driver and you can claim the cost from us - please contact us via our contact form or by phone, and we’ll send you instructions on how to claim.
