The National Science and Media Museum

Bradford Theatres

Saltaire
Saltaire is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to its preservation as a Victorian industrial village. Sir Titus Salt's great mill is now home to the 1853 Gallery, including one of the largest collections of art by renowned Bradfordian David Hockney. It's also only a short walk through Roberts Park to the Shipley Glen Tramway.

Lister Park and Cartwright Hall
Cartwright Hall is Bradford's civic art gallery and offers an exciting programme of contemporary exhibitions, with four permanent galleries.
Cartwright Hall is set in the magnificent, Green Flag-awarded grounds of Lister Park, with a boating lake, adventure playground and Mughal Gardens.

Bradford 1 Gallery
The Bradford 1 Gallery is a new gallery right in the centre of Bradford on Centenary Square. It's home to exhibitions of contemporary and historic art and craft. Bolling Hall
Bolling Hall is situated just a mile from Bradford city centre in a quiet, leafy garden. With parts of the building dating from the Medieval, Bolling Hall is a rambling mixture of styles with every nook and cranny packed with history. During the Civil War the household supported the Royalist cause, and the house provided a stronghold during the 'siege of Bradford'.
Watch out for the 'White Lady' in the aptly named Ghost Room on your visit!

Five Rise Locks, Bingley
The Five Rise Locks are the most spectacular feature of the Leeds-Liverpool canal and is a great place for a walk amongst beautiful scenery.

St Ives Estate, Bingley
The St Ives Estate is a wonderful Country Park with woodlands, open moor, and a wildflower meadow, and paths throughout. It's a great place for a family picnic with the chance to feed the ducks!
Services: 619 operates to Bingley Rail Station, a short walk from the Five Rise Locks. The 622/3 also run here but with a 10 minute additional walk.
