First West of England provides new bus service for Haywood Village
Bus operator First West of England has announced that it is next week inaugurating a new bus service for people who live in Haywood Village. This is being done by extending the existing route 7 from Oldmixon to Haywood Village on and from Monday 9th November.
The extended route will provide vital connections for this growing community, enabling residents of Haywood Village and the surrounding area to travel to the town centre as well as accessing the extensive transport links across the region.
On Mondays to Saturdays, the Number 7 service will serve all the current stops from the town centre to Oldmixon before proceeding on to Haywood Village.
At busy times the service will operate every ten minutes, and between mid-morning and early afternoon every twelve minutes.
James Freeman, Managing Director for First West of England said:
“I’ve very pleased that we’re able to extend this route to provide crucial transport links to the residents of Haywood village. We are regularly reviewing our routes and timetables to meet customer needs; and this has allowed us to introduce this new service to link up the thriving new community that I hope will benefit greatly from this change.”
