How does the 11 November fare change affect University of Bristol Student tickets?
From 11 November we are renaming the Bristol Inner Zone to simply the Bristol Zone but your Uni Year or Term tickets will remain unaffected. Fares will be based on 4 zones: Bristol, Bath, Weston-super-Mare and West of England. The Bath & Bristol Outer Zone will be removed so we'll only have a Bristol Zone, Bath Zone, Weston-super-Mare Zone and for everything else, the West of England Zone. This is great news if you previously bought a Bath & Bristol Outer Zone ticket as your ticket now lets you travel across the whole West of England Zone.
If you already bought a Bath & Bristol Outer Zone Uni ticket, don’t worry, you don’t need to change your ticket as our ticket machines and drivers will accept these tickets across the whole West of England Zone.
Travelling from further afield?
If you are travelling further afield from places such as Bath, Clevedon, Weston-super-Mare, Wells, Chipping Sodbury or Frome a West of England ticket is the one for you!
